2026-27 Registration Fees

* Players wishing to participate in competitive evaluations for the U9 and U11C teams must register for a fall competitive evaluation package as well as the 2026-27 Season Program.

U11C players who participated in Spring 2026 competitive evaluations are not required to purchase this package for September sessions.

SGHA Program Age Categories

Early Registration Discount

Players who register before midnight on June 21, 2026 will automatically receive a $75 early registration discount applied to their total fees.

Please note: This discount does not apply to U7 registrations, as those fees are already significantly reduced.

RAMP Registration

Registration is completed through the SGHA RAMP registration system.

If you are logging in for the first time, a family account must be created. All players and family members who volunteer as team staff must be registered under the family account.

Please remember to record your login details for future use.

Registrants must use their legal name when registering.

Team staff and volunteers will also be required to register through RAMP once selected for a team role. Please do not complete team staff registration until you have been confirmed by the Head Coach or SGHA.

Payment

Online registration is completed through the secure RAMP registration system.

Payment may be made by credit card or e-transfer. Charges will be applied on the day registration is submitted.

Credit card payments are subject to a 2.35% administration fee.

Registration fees may be paid in up to four installments. The first installment will be charged immediately, with the remaining installments due on the 15th of July, August, and September.

Discounts

Goalie Discount

To encourage players who are interested in playing goalie, SGHA will offer the following discounts for the 2026-27 season.

A 75% registration discount will be provided to returning SGHA full-time goalies in the U13, U15, and U18 divisions at the time of registration.

A 75% registration refund will be provided to full-time goalies new to SGHA at the end of the season. Payment must have been made in full as per the registration guidelines.

For part-time goalies, players who participate as both goalie and skater will receive a 50% discount at the time of registration if they are returning goalies to SGHA.

Part-time goalies new to SGHA will receive a 50% registration refund at the end of the 2026-27 season.

Full-time goalies must play the position for practices, scrimmages, games, and tournament play for at least 50% of the season.

Please notify registrar@sgha.ca once registration has been completed but before payment is made, and the discount will be added to the player’s profile. In this circumstance, please choose to pay by e-transfer.

In alignment with the Hockey Canada development pathway, goalie discounts are not offered at the U9 level, house or competitive, or U11 house, where players are expected to rotate through the position.

Goalie Equipment

Sibling Discount

For families with three or more players registered with SGHA in a season, a 50% discount will be applied to the third and additional player’s registration fees.

Requests for sibling discounts must be made to registrar@sgha.ca.

Families requesting this discount should choose to pay by e-transfer, and the discount will be added to the player’s account prior to payment.

House Program

This season, SGHA will aim to form teams of 15 skaters plus a goalie.

Registrations and waitlists will be monitored closely. Placement on a team is subject to registration numbers, available ice, and roster limits. Additional teams will be opened only as numbers allow.

Friend Requests

For house players, each player will have the opportunity to request one friend with whom they would like to play in the coming season. This information will be collected on the registration form.

Friend requests cannot be guaranteed but will be considered if:

• The request is mutual. For example, Ann requests Jane and Jane requests Ann.
• Only one friend request is made by the player. If more than one request is submitted, the last request will be used.
• The request is for the house program only.
• The request does not create an unfair advantage or disadvantage for a team.

If you need to change a friend request after submitting registration, please email registrar@sgha.ca. Changes may only be considered before teams are formed.

Competitive Program

Players selected during Spring 2026 competitive evaluations must complete their registration by June 21, 2026 to secure their spot on the team and ensure timely roster approval and team submission.

U9 and U11C Competitive Evaluations — Fall

Players wishing to participate in the competitive program in the fall must register for the season and choose the appropriate competitive evaluation package.

U9 and U11 competitive evaluations will follow the Hockey Canada pathways for conditioning and tryouts.

Players who were previously registered with other hockey associations and wish to try out for the U9 or U11 competitive teams must obtain a Permission to Tryout form from their previous association before the first evaluation session.

No player will be allowed on the ice unless all electronic documentation is complete and fees are paid.

SGHA Refund Policy

Any player wishing to leave the association and receive a refund must submit a request in writing by email to the Registrar at registrar@sgha.ca.

If the request to withdraw is received in writing by registrar@sgha.ca before July 31, the full value of the registration fee, minus a $75 administration fee, will be refunded.

Tryout registration is non-refundable.
