The Stittsville Girls Hockey Association will hold its 2026 Annual General Meeting as follows:

This notice is being posted in accordance with the SGHA Constitution.

AGM Business

The AGM will include regular Association business, including:

• Receipt/approval of the agenda
• Presentation and adoption of the minutes of the previous AGM and any subsequent special meetings
• Presentation of awards/recognitions and guests, if applicable
• Reports from the Officers, Directors, and committees
• Presentation of financial statements, interim financial information, and proposed budget information
• Report of the auditor or person appointed to conduct a review engagement, if applicable
• Appointment or reappointment of the auditor/accounting reviewer for the coming year, if applicable
• Governance update and consideration of a proposed revised SGHA Constitution
• Election of Officers / confirmation or election of positions in accordance with the revised Constitution, if adopted
• Any other or special business properly included in the notice of meeting

Proposed Revised Constitution

Following governance discussions at the 2025 AGM, the Board has continued work on updates to the SGHA Constitution, including Board structure, Officer and Director roles, voting rights, quorum, succession, and related governance provisions.

A proposed revised SGHA Constitution will be circulated to members no later than June 13, 2026 for review prior to the AGM.

A motion will be brought forward at the AGM to adopt the revised SGHA Constitution, as circulated to members in advance of the meeting.

Board Positions / Elections

The AGM will include confirmation/election of positions in accordance with the revised Constitution, if adopted.

The specific positions available for confirmation/election will be identified when the proposed revised Constitution and AGM materials are circulated to members no later than June 13, 2026.

Members interested in standing for a Board position or volunteering in a Director, committee, or support role may submit an expression of interest to:

Voting Members

Eligible voting members in good standing are invited to attend. Voting will take place in accordance with the SGHA Constitution.
