Division Schedules - September 2024
The following schedule covers ice times for U13 Competitive and all House divisions.
Additional sessions may be added as needed or times changed, so be sure to reference the schedule frequently this month.
**Please note that the times scheduled below are subject to change.
For September the SGHA master schedule will have the most up to date information and should be the version followed.
You can choose your division to reduce the number of items being viewed.
SGHA Equipment List
U7 FUNdamentals sessions will begin in late September
SGHA will be following Hockey Canada’s U7 pathway for development this season - https://www.owha.on.ca/content/u7-program
The U7 program will be delivered through practice drills and skill sessions, as well as informal games like shinny, freeze tag and obstacle courses. The skills of skating, puck control, passing and shooting are introduced and refined one step at a time. The focus will be on fun and skill development, to allow players to experience
fitness, fair play, and cooperation.
U9 House and Competitive
SGHA will be following Hockey Canada’s U9 pathway for development this season - https://www.owha.on.ca/content/u9-program
Following this model there will be four development sessions scheduled for all players in U9 prior to evaluation. The development sessions will focus on skating, puck-handling, passing, and shooting, progressing to small-area games.
For U9, all players registered for the season (competitive and house) should plan to attend all the development sessions.
Details specific to those registered for competitive tryouts will be emailed prior to the first 'try-out' session. Additional dates will be updated in the coming days.

U11 House and Competitive
